A new academic year is upon us! Whether you are looking for ways to get involved on campus, various academic resources, or general questions about UW-Green Bay, faculty and staff are here to help. Below are resources available to all UWGB students to help you succeed.

Academic Advising

Looking for registration help or want to explore your major options? Academic Advising works with you and experts in your chosen major to keep you on track! While these advisors are intended for first-year, new transfers, online, or undeclared students, Academic Advising is here to help steer any student in the right direction. The staff are located in the Student Services building (SS1100) and can also be reached by (920)465–2000 or uwgb@uwgb.edu. Visit the Academic Advising Website.

Campus Cupboard:

Students, faculty, and staff can visit the Campus Cupboard for food from the campus food pantry, as well as hygiene, clothing, and personal products. Visit Rose Hall (RH 140) in the ‘CK One’ space between Wood and Rose Halls. All you have to do is swipe your University ID! Career Services:

Need help with your resume, cover letter, or are looking to improve interview skills? Career Services is here to assist you, visit Student Services (SS 1600) or contact careers@uwgb.edu or (920)465–2163 for more information. Visit the Career Services Website

Community Center:

The Community Center is a great resource for residential students where you have access to a printing station and the mailroom 24/7. Financial Aid:

Financial Aid helps students and their families seek financial resources, including options for funding educational costs, specific types of aid available for you, and how to maintain eligibility. Green Bay One Stop Shop (GBOSS)

Have a question, but don’t know where to start? GBOSS Staff can help! Whether you have questions regarding Financial Aid, Registration or Admissions, the staff located in the Student Services building (SS1100) are here to assist you. Learning Center

Stop by the Learning Center to get FREE academic tutoring and resources to help you thrive! Assistance can be given one-on-one or in a group, in an in-person or virtual session. Multi-Ethnic Student Affairs (MESA)

MESA provides various services, activities, and advising to develop multi-ethnic students and promote academic success for students on campus. Check out the Suite Student Lounge Monday-Friday from 7 a.m.-11:30 p.m.or Saturday-Sunday from 8:30 a.m.-11:30 p.m. Or visit the MESA office in the University Union (UU Suite 112). Office of International Education:

Interested in studying abroad and don’t know where to start? The Office of International Education is here to help. Visit Cofrin Library (CL 108) during their office hours of Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. or contact oie@uwgb.edu or call (920)465–2190 to hear more about faculty and staff resources, international student needs, or any questions about studying abroad during your time here at UWGB. Phoenix Cares

The Phoenix Cares resource allow the opportunity for students to share concerns about another student or themselves. Make a report or gather more information at uwgb.edu/phoenix-cares. Visit the Phoenix Cares Website.

Pride Center

The Pride Center is a welcoming place that provides support services for LGBTQIA+ students, faculty, staff, and allies. Student Accessibility Services (SAS):

Whether you are a new or current student who has a documented disability, SAS can help provide academic accommodations. Student Engagement

Stop by to learn about student organizations, campus activities, and volunteer opportunities. University Police:

University Police are actively patrolling campus, provide students with safe walks and hold self-defense courses for all students. For any non-emergency situation please contact (920)465–2300. Visit University Police Website.

University Recreation (UREC) & UREC Outdoor Adventure

University Recreation provides students with fitness and recreation. Join in on an adventure trip, workout class, or intramurals, rock climbing, intramurals, and SO much more? Veteran & Service Member Student Lounge:

Any veteran or service members attending the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay have the option to go to the Student Lounge for Veteran and Service Members located in Mac Hall (MH 227). Visit the Veteran Services Website.

Wellness Center

Writing Center
