Winter in Green Bay can be harsh — Green Bay hasn’t been deemed the “Frozen Tundra” for nothing, but winter at UW-Green Bay is full of opportunity! Here are a few tips and tricks for making the most out of your Green Bay winter:

Take the tunnels

UW-Green Bay academic buildings are connected by a concourse system — the tunnels. Walk comfortably from class to class without piling on the layers! UW-Green Bay’s tunnels are the perfect way to survive winter.

Enjoy a warm beverage

Warm up and relax by the fire at the Common Grounds Coffeehouse with a warm drink.

Don some Phoenix winter gear

Hats, mittens, scarves and sweaters, oh my! Who knew sporting your Phoenix pride could be so warm?

Bring summer fun indoors

The Kress Events Center has a variety of indoor intramurals, including a Battleship competition in the pool.

Stay Active
