Autumn has made its way to Green Bay! Fall is full of fun activites for all UW-Green Bay students. Here is a list of my favorite fall activities near or on campus:

1. Hillside Apple Orchard — A short drive from campus takes you to Hillside Apples, located in Casco, WI. At Hillside you can pick your own apples, pumpkins, and even take a tractor ride! Pick all the apples you want for only $0.75 per pound, pumpkins are $0.15 per pound too. Hillside is the perfect place for all your fall Instagram photoshoots!

2. Visit Common Grounds — Stop by the Common Grounds coffee shop in the Union and sip on a pumpkin spice beverage! ‘Tis the season!

3. Study with a View — Prepare for your midterms by sitting on the 7th or 8th floor of the Cofrin Library and view the beauty of the fall foliage. Relax while getting your study on!

4. Walk the Arboretum — Take a relaxing walk through UW-Green Bay’s more than six miles of arboretum trails. I love to take photos on the bridge and by Lambeau Cottage. Make sure to share you arboretum pics using #gbtrees.

5. Visit Door County — Take a trip to Door County and get the full fall experience. I love to visit Peninsula State Park, attend Fall Fest in Sister Bay, and purchase all my fall essentials at Dairy View Country Store in Sturgeon Bay. Door County was just named in USA Today’s 10 Best Fall Foliage Destination in the nation.

6. Attend Fall Fest on Broadway — Enjoy a day of fall activities in the Broadway District of Green Bay. This event includes trick-or-treating, a pumpkin weigh-off and wagon rides. Fall Fest on Broadway is October 12 from 11 a.m. — 3 p.m.

7. Take a Fox River Cruise — Take a River Cruise down the Fox River with the Office of Student Life to explore all that Green Bay has to offer. Tickets are $5 for UWGB students. This two-hour cruise will be happening Saturday, October 5.

8. Stroll the Saturday Farmers Market — Pick out your perfect pumpkin at the oldest farmers market in Green Bay. Located at South Washington St., the farmers market offers vendors selling honey, dog treats, flowers and so much more. Saturday farmers markets go from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. and are open every Saturday until October 28. Visit before the season is over!
