Activities to look forward to this semester
There is a lot to be excited for this Spring semester… Here’s a look at all the fun events for students:
1.) Comedian Daniel Franzese (Damian from Mean Girls!) - Wednesday, Jan. 30, University Union, 8 p.m.

2.) Pool Battleship - Thursday, Jan. 31, Kres Events Center Pool, 7 p.m.
Battleship… in real life! Register your team through IMLeagues.com.
3.) Krash the Kress - Friday, Feb. 1 , Kress Events Center, 5 p.m.
Tailgating starts 5 p.m., and Men’s basketball faces rival UW-Milwaukee at 7 p.m. Student participants get a t-shirt, food, game ticket, two drink tickets and game swag for FREE. There are door prizes and one lucky student will win a semester of free tuition!
4.) GB Nites - Friday, Feb. 1, University Union, 9 p.m.
Great things happen late at night! Activities include: Caleb Hawley performance at Common Grounds at 9 p.m., Indoor snowball fight, “Big Basketball,” Airbrush Tattoos, Carnival games with prizes, Rock-paper-scissors tournament, Ice cream at 10 p.m., Walking tacos, popcorn, root beer keg, Photos with Phlash, Crafts, Karaoke
5.) Soul Food Luncheon - Saturday, Feb. 2, Phoenix Rooms, University Union, 12 p.m.
Join the Black Student Union to celebrate Black womyn and kickoff Black History Month Celebrations at UW-Green Bay. This program will educate about and celebrate the Black womyn through songs and performances and will feature Local 5 reporter, Robyn Oguinye. All are welcome. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. A free light lunch will be provided.
6.) UW-Green Bay Reunions and Pre-game party, Saturday, Feb. 2, Kress Events Center, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Prepare to cheer on the Phoenix with a pre-game party including free pizza!
7.) Women’s Basketball vs. UW-Milwaukee - Saturday, Feb. 2, Kress Events Center, 1 p.m.
Come cheer on the Phoenix against rival UW-Milwaukee, play Basketball Bingo by the Bay for prizes and be entered to win textbook scholarships!
8.) Homecoming Games, sponsored by UWGB Greek Life - Saturday, Feb. 2, Kress Events Center, 4 p.m.
Enjoy yard games, as well as some wintry treats and beverages to kick off the semester. All are welcome.
9.) Discounts at Alumni-owned Businesses - Wednesday, Jan. 30 through Saturday, Feb. 2
