Here are some recommendations of fun, moderately priced, covid-friendly endeavors you can embark upon here in Green Bay, Wisconsin from myself and my fellow UWGB students.

Let us talk about: coffee

College students live very busy lifestyles, and to keep up with those lifestyles… we need coffee. One of my favorite places to stop is Daily Buzz. Junior, Lydia Burg likes Daily Buzz because “…it’s a great place to study and hang out with your friends…

Winter in Green Bay can be harsh — Green Bay hasn’t been deemed the “Frozen Tundra” for nothing, but winter at UW-Green Bay is full of opportunity! Here are a few tips and tricks for making the most out of your Green Bay winter:

Take the tunnels

UW-Green Bay academic buildings are connected by a concourse system — the tunnels. Walk comfortably from class to class without piling on the layers! UW-Green Bay’s tunnels are the perfect way to survive winter.

Midterms are here and finals are just around the corner. Here’s some of the best spots on campus to cram for that big test or just study with friends!

Common Grounds Coffeeshop — Grab a latte and a study session at Common Grounds. The coffeeshop is a great environment to get work done, but also spend time with friends.

Cofrin Library —

Each floor in the Cofrin Library offers multiple spaces and rooms to accommodate noise level needs, to help you rock those papers, exams, and projects.

Autumn has made its way to Green Bay! Fall is full of fun activites for all UW-Green Bay students. Here is a list of my favorite fall activities near or on campus:

1. Hillside Apple Orchard — A short drive from campus takes you to Hillside Apples, located in Casco, WI. At Hillside you can pick your own apples, pumpkins, and even take a tractor ride! Pick all the apples you want for only $0.75 per pound, pumpkins are $0.15 per pound too. Hillside is the perfect place for all your fall Instagram photoshoots!
