Campus has a disc golf course, sand volleyball courts, Shorewood Golf Course and more than six miles of trails in the Cofrin Memorial Arboretum.

Enjoy a meal in the open air and under the sunshine. A few locations in Green Bay with patios include: Titletown Brewing Company (recently named the nation’s best Brewpub!), Black Sheep Pub & Grill, Hagemeister Park, Noodles & Company, Smart Cow Yogurt Bar, Qdoba Mexican Grill and Mackinaws Grill & Spirits… to name a few.
Visit Bay Beach Amusement Park
Visit Green Bay’s waterfront amusement park. Bay Beach has free admission, is only a seven-minute drive from UW-Green Bay and tickets only cost .25 cents! There’s even a new ride this year… the Falling Star.
Back the Packers
Time spent in Titletown calls for a visit to the historic Lambeau Field. Take a guided tour, visit the Hall of Fame or enjoy a meal at 1919 Kitchen & Tap. There’s also the Heritage Trail and Packers Training Camp.
Get the Scoop
Get the Scoop is a summer staple on campus, occurring most Wednesdays from 11–1 p.m. at the Phoenix Rooms patio. Two scoops of ice cream for $2!
Dine in style during Green Bay Restaurant Week
July 13–20, many area resturants will offer special menu items at great values. It is a great chance to go out and try an new resturant or dish!
Get in touch with nature at the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary
Explore the more than 700-acre wildlife refuge that is tucked amongst the urban world of Green Bay!
Take in beautiful blooms
A stroll through the Green Bay Botanical Gardens is a beautiful experience… Students with a student ID recieve a discounted price! Thousands of bulbs were planted during UW-Green Bay Make a Difference Day.
Work on your fitness at the Kress Events Center
This beautiful facility is free for students to use, and is home to a turf gym, weight room, cardio deck, rock wall, a pool and more. Stop by this summer to use the facilities or take a fitness class!
Visit a farmers’ market — two days a week!
Farmers’ markets take over Broadway on Wednesdays and S. Washington St. on Saturdays. Pick up a bite to eat, grocery shop or take in live music and the buzz of the city.
Get your firework fix
Festival Foods Fire over the Fox is a day-long celebration of independence day followed by fireworks on July 4 in downtown Green Bay.
Have a wild time at the NEW Zoo & Adventure Park
Feed giraffes, zipline and more — all at the NEW Zoo & Adventure Park!
Enjoy the City Deck
The City Deck, along the Fox River, is host to a handful of events — Nicolet Bank’s Dine on the Deck on Wednesdays at lunchtime, Associated Bank’s Fridays on the Fox, and more. It also has a kayak/canoe launch and makes for a great stroll along the river!

Explore America’s railroad heritage at the National Railroad Museum, or visit a variety of historical exhibits at the Neville Public Museum.

Lunch with Morty runs all summer on the first Thursday of each month. Enjoy food truck fair and Morty the Moose, a mural on Main Street.

The ARTgarage has art galleries and art classes, and Artstreet (an event bringing together local and national artists) runs August 25–27.
